2019 154 I hate snakes
Especially when they wake me up out of my daydreaming by suddenly crossing the road right in front of my feet. Brrr.
2019 153 Roosters and hens
The chickens and roosters didn’t have their own home but walked proudly in the village. Making the cars stop and acting quite annoyed when their midstreet meeting was disrupted.
2019 151 Botanical inspiration
Today was the first time I thought it is a pity I don’t make ceramics anymore. We were in a botanical garden with a lot of unknown, beautiful plants. A great source of inspiration!

2019 146 Brrrr
The Spanish name of this insect is Cucaracha. Which is a nice name. I don’t like the insect itself however. Yikes. There seem to be 4 kinds of cockroaches in Spain. We haven’t seen any here yet. We are so lucky and hopefully it stays that way! 
2019 139 Hippo in the Zoo
The grandchildren went to the Zoo today and were in awe for the hippopotamus. Or as ‘opa’ calls it, a hiphoptamus.

It was all dinosaurs when the grandchildren were visiting us. The eldest knows them all by heart now. I should have asked him what kind of dinosaur this is. Because I don’t know.
