Today we mostly saw stones. Stones in ruins, in old buildings, old roads.

Olive trees, olive trees. Tot the right, olive trees. To the left? Surprise – more olive trees.
We saw a beautiful museum today. And with beautiful I mean the building. Modern. Raw concrete and zinc. Magnificent shapes. Yes, there was art in it, since it was a museum of contemporary art. But too bad, the art didn’t mean anything to me.
Lot of thistles today, apart from the occasional snake!
Especially when they wake me up out of my daydreaming by suddenly crossing the road right in front of my feet. Brrr.
The chickens and roosters didn’t have their own home but walked proudly in the village. Making the cars stop and acting quite annoyed when their midstreet meeting was disrupted.
It is a heatwave in the south of Spain this weekend. 😅
Today was the first time I thought it is a pity I don’t make ceramics anymore. We were in a botanical garden with a lot of unknown, beautiful plants. A great source of inspiration!
A friend reminded me it’s good to switch hands occasionally when drawing or painting. So this is a left-handed abstract.
