More clouds but also sun today.
What I like most of rainy, clouded days like today is the coif the mountains have. Although I realize that on the painting it’s just as hard to see as on a photograph.

It is not yet an abundant harvest out of our garden, nevertheless we’re very proud of it. And very keen on trying the products. Today we had 2 radishes and 2 strawberries. They tasted surprisingly good. Or would that mainly be because we grew them ourselves?

Several weeks ago we bought a mint plant and put it in a bigger pot when we got home. I know from the garden I had in Holland that mint grows like weed once the roots are settled, that’s why we put in a bigger pot. We expect that to be full in no time. … Read more

A great way to explore different drawing techniques is to tackle just one subject. Something as simple as an apple is perfect for this.
The shape is geometric. You can draw it both spatially and flat, with or without shadow, in colour or black and white.
All kinds of drawing and painting techniques are eligible. If I want to draw but don’t have much inspiration for a subject, an apple is always a good alternative.
